§ 01: Publish With Us
We publish other people’s work. Yours included.
Sinister Concept Publishing is an independent publisher accepting submissions in every genre: fiction, nonfiction, genre and literary. Every title we take on gets a real production plan, real distribution and a real launch.
We are selective because every book on our list gets our full attention. We purchase the ISBNs, set up distribution and treat each title as a publishing house title, not a vanity project.
If the work is serious and the author is committed, we want to read it. First books, backlists and series are all welcome.
We do not offer editing or interior layout. Manuscripts come to us edited and ready for production, and we take it from there.

Tell us about the manuscript and what you need from us. We review submissions on a rolling basis and reply to every author.

- The genre and an approximate word count
- Where the manuscript stands today
- A link to a sample: the first three chapters or a synopsis
- A few lines about you

What genres do you publish?
All of them: fiction, nonfiction, genre and literary. If the work is serious and the author is committed, we want to read it.
Do you edit or format manuscripts?
No. Editing and interior layout are outside our scope, so manuscripts should arrive edited and ready for production.
Can I hire you for just an author website?

I’m publishing it myself. Can you help with part of it?
Yes. Every author service is available on its own, from ISBNs and distribution to ARC campaigns and launch plans, each quoted at a flat fee.
How long does a submission review take?
We review on a rolling basis and reply to every author. If the book is a fit, we follow up with a plain-language plan and next steps.
